Overview:
Ultrascreen retractable insect
screens fit onto most types of windows and doors. There are different versions
of the system designed for different types of openings. The vertically operated
screens are most commonly used on windows to cover and protect the opening
pane. The horizontal screens are used for door entrances, with various types
available for different widths of the opening. For single doors the simplest
single cassette spring loaded system is used. This system retracts back
automatically into the cassette once released from the lock making it practical
to use. Double doors have a specifically designed smooth system which does not
automatically retract back into the cassette. For double doors this is an advantage
as it allows sliding and stopping the screen where needed ensuring that the common
use of one side of the door is easy. For bigger bi-fold doors double cassette
screens are used with one cassette for each side of the door and the screens
meeting in the middle. This allows coverage of greater opening spans of the
door. All the screens are made in many colours to match various designs and affects.

Warranty:
All Ultrascreen systems are
provided with a conditional 10 year warranty from the purchase date. Should the
product become inoperative through faulty manufacture, parts or installation
the screen will be repaired or replaced. The guarantee excludes however damage
to the insect mesh or blatant misuse of the screen.

Pricing:
The standard pricing does depends
on the selected system. The rate for standard single wing entrance doors is
around $650 supplied and installed, while double doors about $900. Larger
bi-fold doors are usually around $1200. Windows vary in size and type and so their
prices also differ. As a guide small window openings below 1m2 in
area will be in the region of $450 while bigger openings above 4m2
will be in the order of $750. All prices include supply and installation.
